Eikehof
Winery Description
Location and History
Eikehof Wine Estate is a family-owned winery located to the west of Franschhoek Village near La Motte. Nestled under the shade of ancient oak trees along the R45, this hidden treasure has been in the Malherbe family since 1903. Today, 120 years later, Francois Malherbe represents the fourth generation of winemakers crafting wines in the same cellar his great-grandfather used. The estate's name, Eikehof, is inspired by the magnificent old oak trees iconic to the farm and the Cape Winelands area.

Owners Francois and Elize, together with their team extend a warm welcome, promising an unforgettable experience.
