Originally named Leeuwenjagt, meaning 'hunting lions', this historic farm has evolved significantly since its inception. Founded by Charles Back in 1997, the estate encompasses an old tobacco farm in the Swartland region, recognized for its quality grapes. As visitors explore the farm, they can admire the stunning vistas offered by the surrounding Simonsberg and Table Mountains, creating a perfect backdrop for a day of wine tasting.
