Perched at 620 meters above sea level on the slopes of the Helderberg Mountain Range, Uva Mira Mountain Vineyards is a mere 20-minute drive from Stellenbosch and just 9 kilometers from the Atlantic Ocean coastline. The estate's name, which translates to "The Wonderful Grape," is a testament to its unique location in the renowned "Winemaking Golden Triangle."
Spanning 127 hectares, with 33 hectares under vine, the estate's elevated position provides the perfect climate for producing wines that are inherently elegant in style. The six varietals grown on the estate, including Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Merlot, Shiraz, Cabernet Franc, and Cabernet Sauvignon, are all handcrafted exclusively from grapes cultivated on the property. This personal touch captures the unique characteristics of this exceptional site, resulting in wines of elegance, minerality, and longevity.

Wine Tasting
At Uva Mira, nature is utilised to produce the highest quality wines. The estate's vision combines traditional winemaking practices with the latest technological innovations to create modern wines of international standard, all while maintaining the utmost respect for natural resources.
Guests can visit the Tasting Room to enjoy a tasting of selected wines, either by tasting flight or by the glass. The Tasting Room offers stunning views of False Bay, Table Bay, and Table Mountain.
Restaurant
Although Uva Mira does not have a full-service restaurant, artisanal cheese and savoury meat platters are available. Bookings are recommended. Please note that Uber transport to and from the farm is unreliable.
